Raising small amounts of money (i.e. substantially less than £10 million) in the United Kingdom is increasingly difficult and a cause for real concern.
However, it is not impossible, and here we consider nine different sources of finance: Venture capital, Enterprise Capital Funds, Venture Capital Trusts, Community Development Venture Funds, Regional Venture Capital Funds, University Challenge Funds, NESTA Grants, Early Growth Funding, and business angels.
