Trevor Baylis OBE

60 members of the Knowledge Network were treated to an enlightened and exhilarating talk by world-renowned inventor, Trevor Baylis OBE.

Trevor talked about his early career and the paths that led him to becoming an inventor; the problems that he and other inventors face; the difficulties of getting products and ideas to market; and most importantly of all, solutions to all of these problems.

Trevor also discussed the importance of education in the process of innovation and invention, believing creative thinking should begin in schools. He outlined his vision of how Universities and higher educational institutions should be at the forefront of encouraging innovative thinking from a young age.

All-in-all it was a fascinating insight into one of Britain's most inventive minds and source of inspiration for businesspeople looking for new ways to grow their businesses.
